The site was originally launched in 1999 as a free
service to those who offered freelance services to the clinical research
community. It managed to find opportunities for a number of
researchers although never enough to cover costs. There were some
flaws with the concept and these ultimately undermined the site's value
to the extent it was no longer a valued service.
We are retaining this place marker to indicate that CRF eXchange has
not completely vanished. Maybe one day we will attempt resurrect
the service with different structure and format but for the present we
regret that this action has been necessary.
